Mrs. Elizabeth Schissler, formerly of Greeley, died Saturday in El Toro, Calif. She would have celebrated her 82nd birthday next Sunday.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Congregational Church, followed by interment in Linn Grove Cemetery. Macy Allnutt Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Schissler was born in Walter, Russia, on Feb. 14, 1889, and was married there to George Schissler in 1907. They came to Greeley from Russia in 1911 and farmed in this area for many years. Schissler died Jan. 20, 1936. While she resided in Greeley, Mrs. Schissler was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church.

Survivors include 10 sons and daughters, Mrs. Al (Emma) Stephens of Minot, N.D., Ted Schissler of Greeley; Mrs. William (Pauline) Elliot of Englewood; the Rev. George Schissler of Cleveland, Ohio; Ruben Schissler of La Salle; Mrs. Reinholdt (Molly) Reinick of Renton, Wash.; John Schissler of Granada Hills, Calif.; Mrs. Richard (Louise) Sandau of Fresno, Calif.; Mrs. Ben (Dorothy) Martin of El Toro, Calif.; and William Schissler of Indio, Calif. Also surviving are 32 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
