FOR ED CARRION
A funeral mass will be conducted at 9 a.m. Friday at San Jose Catholic Church for Eduardo Carrion, 12, who drowned Tuesday in the Pecos River.
The Rev. Edward Collett will sing the funeral mass. Burial will be in Santa Catarina Cemetery.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at West Funeral Home chapel.
Survivors include the boy's mother, Mrs. Jesus Sanchez, Carlsbad; his father, Ramon Carrion, Carlsbad; two brothers, Filgensia Baiza and Juan Baiza, both of Carlsbad; a sister, Mrs. Frances Delgado, Marino, Calif., and his grandmother, Reyes Baiza, Carlsbad.
