Funeral services for George Washington Bogenrief of Merrill were held Saturday, June 11, at the Maurer Funeral Home in Le Mars at 2 p.m. Burial was in Melbourne Cemetery near Hinton.

Pallbearers were Jake Anderson, Bob Miller, Henry Pech, Art Philips, Al Miller and Lou Lemke.

Brothers and sisters who survive: Mrs. Phillip (Clara) Julch of Sioux City; B. A. Bogenrief of rural Merrill: A. E. Bogenrief of Hinton; William O. Bogenrief of Leeds and Mrs. A. J. (Eva) Conrad of Jasper, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
