According to the 1870 Federal Census in King Twp, Christian County, IL, Ann was married to Joseph Moore, both of whom were born in OH. (Date of marriage was 3/22/1847 in Christian County, IL.) Living with them were 5 children, namely, Jessie, 18, Louis, 16, Sarah, 13, Alice, 7, and Emery, 5. The 1900 Federal Census in Grand Rapids Twp, LaSalle County, IL, shows Ann (mother-in-law) living with Ed Dulien and Sarah. The census also notes that Ann was the mother of 7 children, 5 of whom were living in 1900. The other 2 children would have been Henry W, born about 1849, and Emma, who was a twin to Emery, born 7/24/1865. According to family records, Ann had 2 other children who died in early infancy, namely, Samuel "Sammy" Moore (1849-1849) and John Martin "Johnny" Moore, born 2/26/1850 and died 3/31/1850.

Joseph died on 6/7/1893 in Iroquois County, IL. His parents were John Skillman Moore and Nancy (Edwards) Moore who are both buried in Belmont Cemetery, Iroquois County, IL.
