Henry Milton Biggers, 96, of Cleveland, TN, died Monday evening, January 31, 2011 at the family residence.

Reverend Biggers was the son of the late Nancy Theodocia Trussell Biggers and John Henry Biggers; and was also preceded in death by his six siblings.

Reverend Biggers served the Church of God of Prophecy as a state overseer for 38 years. During his tenure as overseer he served in the states of Oregon, Mississippi, Texas twice, Indiana, Kentucky and Arkansas. While in this position he served on the General Finance Committee during the general assemblies. After his retirement he pastored in Burbank, IL for a short time. Following his tenure he served as the security guard for Tomlinson College. During many of his retirement years he helped others who were not able to help themselves. He spent many hours visiting the hospitals and those who were lonely. He is loved by many and will be missed by all. Reverend Biggers was a member of the Keith Street Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice "Inez" Biggers of Cleveland, TN; his daughters, Beverly Roach of Cleveland, TN and Cindy Moore of Huntsville, AL; his sons, H. Larry Biggers and his wife Janet of Columbus, GA and Ricky Wayne Biggers and his wife Sheila of Evansville, IN; his grandchildren, Alan Biggers and his wife Denae, Brannon Biggers and his wife Weslynn, Carrie Bishop and her husband Brandon, Rebecca Rodgers and her husband Jason, Lacy Biggers, Christy Swenk and her husband Chris, Tamara Biggers, Carrie Moore and Cathy Moore; and his great-grandchildren, Paige Rodgers, Michael, Katy Beth and Lillian Grace Bishop.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 7 p.m. from the Keith Street Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor John A. Stone and Reverend H. Larry Biggers officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the Keith Street Church.

Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 3 p.m. CST from the McCurtains Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Choctaw County, MS.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011 CST. from the Oliver Funeral Home, 609 Highway 9 South, Eupora, MS.

The family requests the memorials be made to the Biggers-Trussell Reunion Fund C/O Larry Biggers, 8940 Moore Road, Columbus, GA.

The North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes has charge of the arrangements.
