Thelma Biggers Hawkins, 97, of Raymond Road, a homemaker, died of congestive heart failure Friday at Pleasant Hills Nursing Home.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home with burial at 2 p.m. Monday in McCurtain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery near Ackerman. Visitation is 3-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hawkins was a native of Choctaw County. She had lived in Jackson for 55 years. She was a member of Forest Hill Church of God of Prophecy. She was the widow of James Charlie Hawkins.
Survivors include: sons, H. Lavell Hawkins of Jackson and Charles G. Hawkins of Danville, Va.; daughter, Theo Elizabeth O'Neal of Augusta, Ga.; brother, Henry M. Biggers of Cleveland, Tenn.; sister, Cora Sills of Jackson; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
