Ben his brother Lou and brother in law Herman WARREN became early Pioneers in the Detroit theater circuit as early as 1917 eventually calling it the Detroit Theatre Enterprises, Inc. But popularly known as the COHEN Bros.
Eventually Lou obtained his brother in law Herman WARREN's interest and owned 2/3's of the company. Upon Ben's death his 30% was willed to his two nephews Elliot COHEN and Barry (COHEN) CRANE (Lou and Sylvia's children).
After Lou passed in 1947 Sylvia and her two sons ran the bussiness. In the mid 1950's Barry moved to California and changed his name to Barry CRANE and became a very well noted director and producer until his murder in 1985, Los Angeles, California which is still unsolved. Elliot and his mother ran the family business until her death and Elliot COHEN still runs it as a property management firm.
