Funeral for Lou Cohen of the Wilshire Apartments, was held at 2:30 p. m. Monday in the Lewis Brothers Funeral Home, 3800 Puritan. A theater operator in Detroit for 30 years, Mr. Cohen was president of Lou Cohen & Sons, 3711 Woodward, operators of the Hollywood, Roxie, Paradise, Mayfair, Victory, Rio and Capitol theaters. He is survived by his wife. Sylvia, and two sons, Elliot Cohen and Barry Cohen. Mr. Cohen was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Daylight Lodge, F.& A.M., and was active in B'nai B"rith and the Variety Club.
