Laurence H. Renkemeyer, 71, died Sunday at his home in Vienna.

Mr. Renkemeyer was born May (??), 1899, to son of John and Christina Massman Renkemeyer. On April 4, 1923, he was married to Frances Laubert, who died in 1967. He was a farmer and a retired road construction worker in Maries County, and a member of the Visitation Catholic Church, Vienna, and the Holy Name Society.

Survivors inclue: Two sons, Victor Renkemeyer, Vienna, and Donald Renkemeyer, 315 Landwehr Hills; eight daughters, Mrs. William Rehagen, Mrs. Robert Rehagen, both of Springfield, Mrs. Victor Stegeman, 1222 E. Elm St., Mrs. Francis Markway, 207 City View Dr., and Mrs. Charles Redel, 403 Capitol View Dr., Mrs. Harold Heckman, Wardsville, Mrs. Donald Buehler, Lee's Summit, and Mrs. Joseph Richter, Freeburg.

Two brothers, Herman J. Renkemeyer, St. Louis, and Leo Renkemeyer, 809 Washington St.; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Buschman, St. Louis, and Mrs. Emma Stratman, Vienna;; 45 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Visitation Catholic Church, Vienna. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today, Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Birmingham Funeral Home, Vienna, is in charge of arrangements. (From contributor, Carolyn Boroughf)
