On Sunday, January 30, 2011, LORRAINE BERENTER of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Maurice B. Berenter; loving mother of Joel Berenter, Deborah (Stephen) Saunders and David Berenter; dear grandmother of seven, great-grandmother of three. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011, 10 a.m. at TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 254 Carroll St., NW, Washington, DC, 202-541-1001. Interment following at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Adelphi, MD. After the interment, the family will receive relatives and friends at the home of Alvin and Arline Atlas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes, 1500 E. Jefferson St., Rockville, MD 20852 or to the American Heart Association , P.O.
