The funeral of Dr. Elbert A Banks occurred at four o'clock yesterday afternoon from the residence of Mr and Mrs G J Peacock, in Wynnton. Many friends were in attendance, including quite a number of the physicians of the city and the members of Camp Benning, the former attending in a body. The services were conducted in impressive manner by Dr. W. W. Pinson and Rev G. G. N. MacDanell. The remains were tenderly laid to rest in Linwood cemetery, the following gentlemen acting as pallbearers: Colonel W S Shepherd, Captain William Redd, Jr, Dr. Robert Carter, Messrs C M Woolfolk, John F. Flournoy, George Fontaine. Lloyd Dowers and Charles A Lovelace.
