A 5 year old Silver Point boy was struck by a car about 11:00 a.m. Sunday when he reportedly ran onto State Hwy 141 near his home.
DOA at Cookeville General Hospital was Carl Wayne Anderson, son of Mr. & Mrs. Carl Lee Anderson of Silver Point, Rt. 1.
Funeral services for the child will be held at 2:00 Tuesday in the Chapel of Baxter Funeral Home and burial
will be in Smellage Cemetery.
Driver of the car which struck the Anderson boy was Kenneth Anderson 45 of Silver Point Rt.1.
Surviving in addition to his parents include a brother, Timmy Lee Anderson and a sister, Beverly Ann Anderson; also grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Collie Anderson and Mr. & Mrs. Vestal Maxwell all of Silver Point, Rt. 1. Rev. James Garry will officiate at the services.
