OBITUARY
Last rites for John McCLURE, 76, a Canadian resident of half a century, were held at the First Baptist Church, with Rev. Joe Vernon, pastor, in charge.
Mr. McCLURE, a retired carpenter, died on September 5, 1961 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Grace OWSLEY, in Amarillo. He had been making his home there since last November.
In addition to his daughter, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Julian TRIVITT of Cherokee, Oklahoma; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
