Funeral services for Mrs. Marcella "Sally" Sabel, 69, of W4120 Ledge Road, Malone, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Zacherl Funeral Home, and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church.
The Rev. Michael F. Moran will officiate, and burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home, where a parish vigil will be held at 8 p.m.
Mrs. Sabel died Friday, Oct. 28, 1988, at St. Agnes Hospital.
She was born July 5, 1919, in St. Cloud, a daughter of August and Anna Hoerth Karl. On Oct. 18, 1939, she married Harold H. Sabel at St. Cloud Catholic Church.
Mrs. Sabel was engaged in farming with her husband in the Peebles area, and was a member of St. Mary's Church and the church's Altar Society.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Patricia Petrie and her husband Sylvester of St. Joe, Kathleen Schmalz of Kaukauna, and Nancy Gerner and her husband James of Fond du Lac; two sons, Harold "Bud" and his wife Sandy of Malone, and Charles and his wife Lynn of Kiel; 17 grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Kohlman and her husband Lyle of Mt. Calvary, and Matilda Koenigs and her husband Michael of St. Cloud; two brothers, August Sippel of Marytown and Ernest Sippel and his wife Pelegia of Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews.
One son, four sisters and five brothers preceded her in death.
A memorial in her name has been established.
