Funeral services for Mr. Morris J. Perkins, 80, of Hall Summit, LA were held Thursday, October 8, 1992 at 10 A.M. in the Coushatta Rose-Neath Chapel, with Reverend Edwin Peters, and Reverend Joe Adams officiating. Burial was in Social Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Perkins passed away October 6, 1992 at his residence following a short illness. He was born in Harrison County, Arkansas, but had been a lifelong resident of Red River Parish. He was a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by his son, Morris Elton Perkins.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Maybelle (Mable) Walden Perkins of Hall Summit; four daughters, Inez Pate and Linda Kershaw, both of Lafayette, LA, Marsha Perkins of Shreveport, LA and Jan Rogers of Mesquite, TX; two sisters, Grace Miears and Vera Giddens, both of Haynesville, LA; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

His grandsons served as Pallbearers.
