Bertrelle E. Yingling, 90, a resident of the Granview Health Care since December 10, 1990 died at 12:25 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 1991 at Oil City Area Health Center.

Mrs. Yingling had formerly resided at Highland Avenue in Titusville for seven years and at the Presbyterian Home for eighteen months.

Born Sept. 23, 1900 at Rimersburg, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Margaret (Hartman) Rankin.

She married Arthur R. Yingling on June 9, 1921 in Clarion County. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1982.

Mrs. Yingling was a 1918 graduate of Rimersburg High School. Following graduation, she received her teaching certificate and taught at the Means and Rimersburg schools for three years.

Following her marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Yingling managed the Knight's Creamery at Leatherwood for 12 years.

They moved to Titusville in 1936 and operated the Yingling Dairy until their retirement in 1962.

Mrs. Yingling was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Mary E. Merrick Sunday School Class and the Presbyterian Womens Association.

Survivors include two sons, Earl Yingling of Titusville and Glenn Yingling of Newark Valley, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; two bothers; two sisters and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Lois Sterling, two brothers and two sisters.

Arrangements were by the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home in Titusville.

The family suggests memorials to the Presbyterian Home, 701 N. Perry Street, Titusville.
