LAURA STONE PASSES AWAY
Laura Belle (Pyle) Stone, 70, died in her home at 1413 Avenue F, at 12:40 a.m. today after an illness of fifteen days.
She was born April 9, 1874 near Norborne, Missouri. She came to Fort Madison in 1907, after living in St. Joseph, Missouri. On March 27, 1891, she married William P. Stone at Henrietta, Missouri. He survives.
Other survivors are six sons, William H., of Kansas City, Missouri, Kemper, Richland, Washington, Harry E., George, Paul, and Donald, Fort Madison; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth La Grange, Los Angeles, California, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Clements chapel Thursday at 4 p.m. The Reverend H. H. McLeod will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Mora Cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri.
