I’m requesting that Kesiah be connected to Samuel Jr and Eliza Jane (Gose) Denney as her parents based on 3 things – I recently reread my Grandfather’s obit (Roy R Denney) which states that he was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The only sister I previously knew of was his sister Alice, who died of Typhoid Fever in 1915. Also, on the 1900 census, Samuel and Eliza were asked the number of children born to them: 6; the number of children living: 5. Kesiah died in 1899. This information, combined with the fact that little Kesiah’s headstone is in a row with, and matches, all the other Denney headstones in this cemetery, (which I believe were all placed at once, possibly when Eliza Jane died, since she was the last one to pass away in this family group), is a compelling argument as to her identity. Little Kesiah would have been named for her grandmother, Kesiah (Burns) Denney. I hope you will consider it. Thanks
