Olive Brasch

Olive A. Brasch, 82, Joplin, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997, at Freeman Hospital West after an illness.

Mrs. Brasch was born Nov. 10, 1914, at Joplin and was a lifetime resident.

She was a homemaker and a former self-employed cake decorator.

She was a Protestant.

She married Floyd R. Brasch on Jan. 8, 1939, at Joplin. He died Aug. 8, 1992.

Survivors include a son, Robert A. Brasch, Joplin; a daughter, Cindy Susan Smith, Carl Junction; two brothers, Bill Allen and Leyland Allen, both of Joplin; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary.

The Rev. Aaron Weibel will officiate.

Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin.

Pallbearers will be Butch Allen, Spencer Aggus, Steve Aggus, Ron Raymond, Herb Faucett and Tom Russell.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Family will be at the home of a son, Robert A. Brasch, 3712 Castle Rock Drive.
