Harvey W. Burdette, 81, of Woodfield, died Monday at the Potomac Valley Nursing Home in Rockville. He was born in Montgomery County, a son of the late Richard and Laura Watkins Burdette.
He was the husband of Millie M. Burdette and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Wesley Grove United Methodist Church, Woodfield.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Laura Sumner, Woodfield, and Mrs. Mildred Bradsher, Falls Church, Va., one son, Willard F. Burdette, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
Friends may call at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home in Damascus today from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Ralph D. Posey will officiate. Burial will be in the Wesley Grove Cemetery.
