"DEATHS
ALLEN. ln Tulare, Monday, March 17, 1902, William Allen, a native of Tennessee, aged 82 years and 6 months. The deceased immigrated from the state of Missouri to California in 1846 and settled in Eldorado County. In 1875 he moved to Tulare County and settled in Tulare, where he lived until he passed away. Deceased leaves 5 children, 4 sons and one daughter. His wife [nee Albina Jane Foster] died 12 years ago [1888] in Tulare. The body will be brought over Wednesday on the 8:34 train. The funeral will take place from the Armona depot. Interment in Grangeville cemetery." END
