He is the son of William Andesron and Sarah Finch. He served in the War of 1812 as a private in Captain Howard's Company. After he returned home he married Elizabeth McMullen on 10 July 1814 in Baldwin County GA. They had two children Francis Marion Anderson and Rohoborne Kinch Anderson. They divorced 17 Dec 1831. He then married Elizabeth Mattox on 8 Mar 1832 in Coweta County Ga.
