Mrs. Hallie Crawford Youngchild, age 88, died on Saturday, January 28, 2006, at a local hospital.
She is survived by two children: Henry (Jo-Anne) Crawford of Montrose, AL, and Courtney (Charles) Ann Ogletree of Gulf Shores, AL; six grandchildren: Sally Jeter of New Orleans, LA, Shane (Crystal) Jeter of Daphne, AL, Callie Ogletree of Montgomery, AL, Beth Ogletree of Gulf Shores, AL, Gretchen (Charles) Hahn of Tucson, AZ, Jennifer (Pascal) Bruijn of Fairhope, AL; three great-grandchildren: Haley Addis, Hampton Addis, and infant Scott Jeter.
Raised in New Orleans, Mrs. Youngchild was an avid businesswoman, golfer, sailor, traveler, and loved her family and friends dearly.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2006, at 3 p.m. at Montrose Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2006, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes, Fairhope.
