Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Byrd, 70, a life-long resident of Coward, died last night at The McLeod Infirmary.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hicks Chapel at Coward, by the Rev. T. O. Evans.
Surviving are two sons, Willie Byrd and Capers Byrd, both of Coward; four brothers, Logan Altman of Timmonsville, Frank Altman of Scranton, Lester Altman of Lake City and Willie Altman of Jamestown, S.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Lee and Mrs. Belle Wilkes, both of Effingham, and Mrs. Della Lambert of Brunswick, Ga.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The Morris Funeral Home will have charge of the arrangements.
