Jean M. Hoover, 81, of Claysburg, died Sat., Jan. 22, 2011 at home. She was born in Claysburg to Fred & Rachael (Stine) Black. She was twice married, first to Lloyd Clark, who died March 25, 1973, and then to Barton Hoover on October 27, 1974. Survived by her husband, of Claysburg; daughter, Robin Clark of Claysburg; step-son, Eric Hoover & wife, Deborah, of Santa Fe, NM; brother, Robert Black & wife, Algie, of Brookes Mills; and 2 sisters: Mary McCoy & husband, Leo, and Shirley Black, all of Roaring Spring. Predeceased by 3 sisters: Helen Eckard and Florence and Grace Black. Jean was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Claysburg, and the Blue Bird Circle. She retired as a custodian from the Claysburg Post Office after 23 years of service. Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. Interment, Claysburg Union Cemetery.
