Robin Jean "Bird" Clark, 59, of Claysburg, passed away Saturday January 1, 2022 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1962 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Lloyd H. Clark and Jean M. (Black) Clark-Hoover. She was preceded in death by her stepfather Barton Hoover.

Surviving is a step brother Eric Hoover of Santa Fe, NM and many friends that were very attentive to her.

Robin was a lifetime member of Christ Lutheran Church, Claysburg, where she served on counsel and was a liaison to shut-ins. She was a 1980 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School and attended Altoona Area Vo Tech, where she took the food service curriculum.

Robin was employed at the Ramada Inn, Altoona for 15 years. She was a member of the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Company and the Claysburg Ambulance Service, where she served as an EMT and billing secretary. She also assisted with the Claysburg Backpack program. Robin enjoyed being with friends, playing card games, cooking, canning, and going for rides. She had two dogs "Bo" and "Freddy" that she considered her sons.

Friends will be received from 10 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. funeral service on Friday January 7, 2022 at Christ Lutheran Church, Claysburg, with Pastor Karen Ward officiating. Interment at Claysburg Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Central Pa Humane Society, 1837 E. pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602 or Christ Lutheran Church, 206 Walnut Street, Claysburg, PA 16625.
