Myles Oliver Hortman is the son of the late Oliver Jackson Hortman and Achsah Virginia Mitchell Hortman. He was a World War II Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith.
Family left behind are, three daughters, Connie Ricks, Bonnie Keene and Dale Haydon; one son, Ken Hortman; one brother, J. C. Hortman; one sister, Maevan Hortman; four grandchildren, Jessica Durante, Keri Love, Andi Ricks, and Jennifer Ervin; three great-grandchildren, Savannah Grace Ervin, Parker Scott Durante and Austin Garrett Ervin.
He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
