James M. Soper, well-known Montgomery County farmer, died at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, Tuesday afternoon, aged 74 years. He was a son of the late Elias and Mollie Soper and is survived by one son, Harvey, Beltsville; and two brothers, Oliver, Dickerson, and Henry, Mt. Rainier.

Funeral this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the funeral home at Barnesville. Interment Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville. William B. Hilton, funeral director.
