Thomas Franklin Soper, a well-known resident of Johnsville district, died at his home near Johnsville, Monday morning at 10:40 o'clock after an illness of several years, aged 77 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine Palmer Soper, and the following children, John Soper, Baltimore; Frank Soper, at home; Mrs. Paul Beard, Frederick; Mrs. Atlee Reisler at home. Four brothers, Oliver and Bert Soper, Poolesville; Cornelius Soper, Washington, and James Soper, Barnesville, also survive.
Funeral from the late home Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock with services conducted by Rev. Herbert H. Schmidt in Rocky Hill Lutheran church. Interment adjoining cemetery. Powell and Albaugh, funeral directors.
