Mr William Odis Turner 72 of Minden, died Jan 15 in Minden Medical Center after a long illness. Funeral services were held Sunday Jan 16 in the Hose Neath Chapel with burial following in the Fuller Cemetery. Rev Virgil Groves officiated.
Mr Turner was retired from LAAP and the Webster Parish courthouse as a maintenance man. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Beech Springs Baptist Church.
Turner is survived by his wife Mrs Ethel Norton Turner, 2 daughters Betty Thomas and Janice Lawrence both of Minden, 2 sisters Mary L. Morgan and Loette Cox both of Minden, one brother Devoe Turner, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were James Thomas, Jonathan Thomas, David Thomas, Keith Plunkett, Charles Turnley, Leslie Williams.
