Funeral Rites Held
At Beech Springs


Funeral services were conducted last week for Mrs. W.M. Turner, 67, of Beech Springs, who died December 10 at her home at Beech Springs.

The rites were conducted by the Rev. J.C. Berrier, pastor of the Beech Springs Baptist church, of which she was a member, and also by the Rev. L.K. Hartsfield, pastor of the Homer Oil Field Baptist church.

Burial was in the Fuller cemetery near the Beech Springs church.

Survivors include three sons, Odis and Devoe Turner of Minden, and Lonnie Turner of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Mary L. Morgan of Minden and Mrs. Loette Cox of Rayville; two brothers, Gehne Miller of Minden and Lawrence Miller of Basco, La.; one sister, Mrs. Dessie Sanders of Minden; five half-sisters, Mrs. Minnie Langheld of Minden, Mrs. Lorene Miller of Homer, Mrs. Roscoe Wilson of Alexandria, Mrs. Ruby Dartez of Monroe and Mrs. Lucille Friedman of Battle Creek, Michigan, and 10 grandchildren.
