In 1715 Tristram and his family moved to Norwich, CT., where they purchased land on May 21, 1715. Tristram was admitted as a freeman of Norwich on June 21, 1716. His will was probated Mar. 1, 1756 of which he left his land to four of his sons: Tristram, Joshua, Samuel and Richard. After his death Joshua and Richard sold their share to their brother Samuel.
