Harry Lawrence Pierson, 54, of 107 Tionesta st., Sheffield, was pronounced dead on arrival at Warren General Hospital at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, 1974, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born in Kellettville, Pa. on March 1, 1920, a son of John and Edna Beck Pierson, he had lived in Sheffield since 1927 and was employed at Betts Machine Co. He was a member of the Sheffield Methodist Church, the North Star Lodge, No. 241, F and AM, the Coudersport Consistory, Michael and Nicholas Peroski VFW, Sheffield, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Edna Pierson; his wife, Mrs. Arlene Pierson; a son, James Pierson, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Marie) Boardman, N. Warren; Mrs. Milton (Doris) Danielson, Barnes, and Mrs. John (Ardath) Petruney, Sheffield; and four brothers, Karl B. Pierson, Warren; Harley L. and John A. Pierson, both of Sheffield; and Maurice E. Pierson, Marion, Indiana.
A funeral service will be held at the Borden Funeral Home, Sheffield, at 1:30 this afternoon, with the Rev. George W. Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Warren County Memorial Park.

Pierson, 54, of 107 Tionesta st., Sheffield, who died in an auto crash Monday Dec. 23, 1974, was held at Borden Funeral Home in Sheffield at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. George W. Camgbell of the Sheffield United Methodist Church officiating. Bearers, all nephews, for interment in Warren County Memorial Park, active and honorary, were Gregory Pierson, John Pierson, Jeffrey Pierson, Craig Pierson, Larry Boardman, David Danielson, Douglas Danielson, Kirby Danielson, Rickey Petruney, and Randy Petruney.
