FUNERAL SERVICES for Charles B. McFarland - Funeral Services over the remains of Charles D. McFarland will be held Tuesday at 1 o'clock at the West Weber meeting house. The body will be In state atthe home in West Weber between the hours of 9 and 12 Tuesday. Interment West Weber cemetery.

Suddenly Drops Dead

Family of Charles M'Farland Deeply Distressed

Mr. McFarland Was Working In His Field When Stricken Down by Apoplexy.

While at work in a field near his home in West Weber, shortly before noon today. Charles McFarland a well-to-do farmer and son of Archibald McFarland, suffering from what was believed to be a stroke of apoplexy, sank to the ground and died.
The death comes as a great shock to the family and friends, as he was in apparently splendid health when he went about his daily labors this morning.
Shortly before noon Mr. McFarland was seen to sink to the ground by member of his family. They rushed to his side and carried him into his home, where he expired a few mintues later.
Mr. McFarland was about 45 years of age. He is survived by a wife and children and his parents.
