Funeral services for Rev. Dan Thomas Sparkman,63, Decatur 3, who died Monday in a local hospital, were to be today at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Lyndon Montgomery, Eric Bowling, Wendell Callahan and D. C. Presley officiating with burial in Roselawn Cemetery, Shelton directing.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Susie Sparkman, Decatur 3, a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Pearl Tucker, Decatur 3, a son Dawson Sprkman, Decatur; three sisters, Miss Lola Mae Sparkman, Miss Nola Daye Sparkman, Miss Wilma Sparkman; three grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be Leonard Edge, G. W. Henderson, Gordon Marsh, Rex Marsh, Burton Marsh and Raymond Marsh.

Honorary pallbearers will be ministers of Morgan and Limestone counties.

Rev. Sparkman was pastor of Belmor Baptist Church in Limestone County, had been county Sunday School superintendent for a number of years, and was a lifetime member of the Morgan County Baptist Association.
