Mrs. Vogt dies Friday afternoon at Jericho Home
Chilton - Mrs. Josephine Vogt, 87, died on Friday afternoon at 4:45 o'clock at her home in Jericho, Calumet county. Born in St. Anna on July 9, 1856, Mrs. Vogt is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clovis Wattier.
She was married to August Vogt, a civil war veteran who preceded her in death 28 years ago.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Anna Greuel of Jericho and Mrs. Louise Schleis of Defiance, Ia.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the home and at 9:30 o'clock in Holy Trinity church in Jericho. The Rev. F.C. Hermann will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home beginning this evening.
