She died Sunday at her home.
She was born Nov. 12, 1893, in Coryell County, Gatesville, Texas. She grew up in Mills County, Texas. She married Oscar Patterson on Dec. 24, 1911, in Gatesveille, and they lived in Goldthwait, Texas. She moved to Carlsbad four years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ Church.
She is survived by two sons, Garland Patterson, Forth Worth, Texas and James Patterson, Brownwood, Texas; one daughter, Johnnie Ruth Mosier, Carlsbad; three sisters, Mrs. J.B. Johnson, Carlsbad, Loma Ledbetter, Conroe, Texas and Fleeta McClary, Brownwood; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Services for Edna Leon Patterson, 91, 506 N. 4th St., will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Denton Funeral Home Chapel. Forrest Kirkes, Loving Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Herman Anderson, Billy Anderson, Tilmon Kirby, Gary Williams, Billy Ray Patterson and Mike Clark.
Patterson died Sunday at her home.
