Mrs. Johnson died at her home today.
She was born on March 20, 1906, in Ballinger, Texas, and grew up in that area. She lived in Lea Couty before moving to Carlsbad in 1932. On Jan. 28, 1926, she married the late John Baptist Johnson in Breckenridge, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. At the time of her death, she was living with her grandson, Gary Lowe.
Survivors include one son, Buddy Johnson, Carlsbad; one daughter, Mary Ann Campbell, Houston; two sisters, Fleta McClearly, Early, Texas, Loma Ledbetter, Conroe, Texas; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Service for Johnie Mae "Nennie" Johnson, 84, 2202 Mountain View is to be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Bacon officiating. Burial is to be in Carlsbad Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday at her home.
Pallbearers are to be C.A. Mosier, Earl Johnson. O.N. Adams, J.T. Stephens, Jerry Owen and Dean Sheppard.
Denton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
