      Gunther Funeral Scheduled Today

Final rites for Mrs. Savannah Gunther, 86, of West Wickham, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in the Melton Mortuary Chapel with George Dryden officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.

She died at 3:10 p.m. Monday at her home following a long illness.

Born Oct. 8, 1876, at Hernshaw, she was a daughter of the late Dryden and Roxie Ann Snodgrass.

A resident of West Wickham since 1910, she was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include three sons, Frances and Harvey, both of West Wickham, and Lury of Spotsylvania, Pa.; three brothers, Floyd, of Huntington, Brook of Hernshaw, and Singer of Charleston; and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Starks of Hernshaw, and Mr. Blaine Nary of Ballard.

The body will remain at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jim Nary, Jan Hood, Hall and Albie Gunther, Bill Cox, Frank Mills, and Everette Pennington.
