Augusta, GA---Mr. James E. "Jim" Faughnan, 63, entered into rest on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Medical College of Georgia, following a long battle with cancer.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 12:15 pm at The Church of the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with Father Michael Lubinsky as celebrant. Interment followed in Westover Memorial Park.


Mr. Faughnan was preceded in death by his parents, William A. Faughnan, Sr. and Dorothy Boyle Faughnan and by his brother, William A. Faughnan, Jr.


He is survived by two brothers, Michael Faughnan and wife, Susan and Patrick Faughnan and wife Sarah, four sisters, Margaret Faughnan, Eleanor Peterson, Catherine Faughnan and Ann Ronchetto, sister in law, Carol Faughnan, nine nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.
