ELIZABETH LEE
---Elizabeth Straight was born in Tyler County, West Virginia, September 6, 1835, died at her home in La Plata Friday, October 3, 1913, at the age of seventy-eight years and twenty-eight days.
---She moved with her parents to Iowa when eighteen years of age. She was united with the Methodist church when quite young and has been a devoted christian ever since.
---She leaves to mourn her departure, an aged husband, five children, twenty-one grandchildren, three sisters, one brother and a host of friends.
---Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church Sunday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by Rev. C. H. French, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. Remains were laid to rest in the La Plata cemetery to await the resurrection.

1) Emma Jane Lee Hern
2) Charles David Lee
3) Katie Lee Bruce
4) Samuel Alvora Lee
5) Ella M. Lee Tate
6) Oliver R. Lee
