Frank E. Baginski Sr.

Frank E. Baginski Sr., 90 a resident of Jennings Center of Older Adults in Garfield Heights Ohio and formerly of Erie died there Tuesday January 11, 2011. He was born in Erie, May 20, 1920 son of the late Walter and Josephine Bukowska Baginski.

Frank was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.

He retired as a service technician from Sears.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, where he was a member of the Usher's Society, Polish Falcons Nest 123 and the Society of Holy Trinity Club.

He enjoyed golfing, billiards, and bowling.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kuklinski Baginski, sisters Helen Shimek and Genevieve Spaeder and brothers, Edward, Casimir "Casey" and Sigmund Baginski.

Survivors include his daughter Cynthia M. Baginski of Bay Village Ohio and sons Frank Baginski Jr. of Edgewater Maryland and Thomas Baginski and wife Pam of Auburn Alabama.

Friends may call at the Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Members of Holy Trinity Ushers will meet for a prayer service Friday at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m.
