Daniel J. Shea, 72, died at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. T. Brown, 352 Fourth Street. He was a retired navy yard mechanic having been employed in the yard as a shipfitter. He is a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and of Ocean Council, Royal Arcanum. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Church at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. In addition to his daughter, Mrs. Brown, his survivors are a son, Daniel J. Shea, Jr., a sister, Mrs. Josie A. Gallilee, and five brothers, Dennie J., Michael E., Jeremiah, John F. and William Shea.
