Funeral Services Will Be Held Monday Morning At St. Paul's Church
Funeral services for Michael Edward Shea, aged 77 years, retired patternmaker for the Seaboard Air Line Railway Shops, here who died last night at 9:45 o'clock at his residence, 204 Lincoln Street, after an illness of one week, will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock with Requiem High Mass at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Interment will take place in St. Paul's Cemetery.
Mr. Shea was a native of Norfolk but had resided in this section practically his entire life. He was widely known throughout the city, especially in the South Portsmouth area, where he lived for many years.
A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Shea, the deceased held membership in St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
Survived By Wife
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Cora L. Shea; two sons, Frank Alfred Shea, Sr., and Michael E. Shea, Jr.; a brother, John T. Shea; two granddaughters, six grandsons, a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
The boby was prepared for burial at the Richardson and Foster Funeral Home, High Street and Fifth Avenue, and was returned to the late residence this afternoon.
