Sylvester Mark Hulet, age 81, former resident of Teton Valley, died at his home in Provo, Utah, January 11, 2010, of natural causes.
Mark was born May 5, 1929 in Driggs, Idaho, to Albert Franklin Hulet and Vida Hill Hulet. He lived in Driggs until 1935, when his family moved to Victor. He grew up and attended schools in Teton Valley, graduating from Teton High School. He continued his education at Idaho State University and graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree.
Mark was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany as an assistant chaplain from 1954-56. He attended and graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, in Dentistry. While in the Chicago area he met and married Helen Patricia "Pat" Tracy on April 30, 1959, in Park Ridge, Illinois. They were divorced July 9, 1968.
In 1962, he opened a private dental practice in Castro Valley, Sacramento, and Apple Valley, California. He married Naomi Ruth Kole October 11, 1968, in Kensington, California, and they divorced August 26, 1974. He married Barbara Faye Hoffman October 22, 1977, and they were later divorced.
Mark was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. From 1950 to 1952 he served a full-time mission to the Central States. He later served as a temple officiator in the Ogden and Provo, Utah, temples. He also worked in family history research. Mark enjoyed gardening and fishing.

3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Karen.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. until time of services.
