NORMAN W. TRIPP; BURLINGTON - Norman W. Tripp, 63, died at a Lincoln hospital after a short illness. He was born here Dec. 23, 1902, son of Marcena and Olive (Jipson) Tripp. He is survived by his widow, Annie (Sibley) Tripp of here; two sons, Marcena and Eldon W. of here; four daughters, Mrs. Shirley Butterfield, Mrs. Phyllis Blood and Mrs. Norma Colby of Lincoln, Miss Marilyn Tripp of Poughkeepsie, N. Y.; two brothers, Rodney and LeRoy of here; two sisters, Beatrice Bowers of Glendale, Ariz., Mrs. Dells Scott of Milford; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Barton Funeral Home, Lincoln, the Rev. Calvin Alexander of the Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
