Mr. Berry died Friday at Missouri Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston.
He was born in Columbus, Ky., Feb. 20, 1910, the son of Samuel Clay and Polena Lepchenski Berry. On April 2, 1920, he married the former Crystal A. Remo, who survives.
He had lived in Charleston most of his life, and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. He had been a timber dealer until his retirement in 1971..
Besides his wife, he is survived by sons, Press Jr. and Cladis "Bob" Berry; daughter, Mrs. Edith Lee; a brother, Paul Berry; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A son and a brother preceded him in death.
