CLADIS LEE “BOB” BERRY, 89, of Charleston, died Monday, December 23, 2019, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born February 2, 1930, at Charleston, MO, to the late Press Berry, Sr. and Crystal Reno Berry, he had lived in Charleston his entire life and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was engaged in the logging and timber industry and later worked as a building contractor. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Charleston.

On December 31, 1954, he married Wanda Faydine Hornback, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his son and daughter in law, Robert (Joni) Berry of Jackson; his daughters and sons in law, Cheryl (Anthony) Morris of Dyersburg, TN and Karen (Richard) Conn of Wyatt; his brother and sister in law, Press (Martha) Berry, Jr. of Cape Girardeau, his grandchildren, Scott (Amy) Dugan, Sarah (John) Nothdurft, Adam Morris, Jill (Justin) Day, Brad (Kristi) Berry, Garret Evans and Richard Evans; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Charlotte Berry Evans; his brother, Wilford Berry and his sister, Edith Berry Lee.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2019, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Gerald Collier, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Scott Dugan, Adam Morris, Brad Berry, John Nothdurft, Justin Day and Tim Berry.
