Services for Frederick W. Walker, 44, who died Tuesday in Portland of an apparent heart attack, will be held at the Emmett cemetery at 2 p.m. Saturday. Beatty chapel is in charge of local arrangements.
Born here in Emmett July 18, 1928, Mr. Walker attended local schools, graduating from Emmett High school in 1947. In 1951, he entered the U.S. Army, serving from 1951 to 1953, with one year service in Germany.
He was married to Dorothy Nebeker in Dec. 1956. Moving to Boise in 1956, Mr. Walker was employed by the Children's Home, later joining the Boise City Police Department.
Moving to Portland in 1958, he was employed by Crawford Dorr company.
Surviving him are his wife Dorothy, at home; three daughters. Kathy, Dorice and Kimberely and one son Calvin all at home; his mother Mrs. Merle Clark of Portland, Ore; his father Robert Walker of Boise; two sisters Cleo Mickels of Portland and Darlene Mills of Stevenson, Wash.; two aunts Grace Lutgen of Stevenson, and Wilma Pyle of Emmett; one uncle Jim Mitchell of Emmett, two nieces and three nephews in Portland.
