Services for Robert Anderson Walker 89, of 3205 Gavin, who died Sunday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 10 am Wednesday at Cloverdale funeral Home by the Rev. Don Ian Smith, Hillview United Methodist Church. Interment will be Wilder Cemetery.
He was born March 13, 1908, in Payette. He hearded sheep for Walt Little, Emmett,, from 1950 until 1958. He married Evelyn Patterson Walker March 3, 1958, in Nampa. They moved to Picabo, where he milked cows until moving to Grand View in 1960. They moved to Whitney Bottoms in 1968, where he irrigated until retiring in 1972.
Surviving are his wife, Boise, two step-daughters, Juandee Barber, South Wales, N.Y., and Viola Innis, Junction City, Ore; a step-son Frank Patterson, Florence, Ore.; three sisters, Margaret Bowman and Luvilla Lane, both Emmett, and Addie Asmussen, Portland; two brothers, Thomas, Boise and John Walker, Heppner, Ore.; four grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, and a great-grandchild and 16 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Friends may call at the Cloverdale Funeral Home from 9 am until 6 PM today and from 9 am until time of services Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Carl, Brad, Edward, Ralph, Rodney and Allen Walker.
